Am i nervous for graduation? Is actually a question I often ask myself. Graduation is coming faster than I ever thought it would, I remember freshman year when I couldn’t wait to be a Senior and now all I want is for time to slow down a bit. I am more excited than nervous for graduation because it means I get to see my family be super proud of me at our ceremony and finally get to say I did it! I finally decide where I will be attending college in the fall and i chose Fresno State. Although it would’ve been an awesome experience to attend Sacramento State I chose to stay close to home because my mom is expecting a baby. Even though it was completely unexpected i'm super excited to be a big sister again and being close to my mom seems like the right thing for me to do at the moment. Senior year is not quite over yet and i'm looking forward for some of the things that are yet to come like senior sunset, the bbq for university bound seniors, and grad night. These are many of the things I can’t wait to enjoy with my class even if we hardly get along when we do we have great times. So far I have made a couple preparations for post-high school like looking at the place where I will be living in fresno, applying to financial aid.
I did also get a job and it's been harder than I thought keeping up with everything. I work almost everyday from 4-9 so I hardly have time to do homework but so far i’ve kept up. Having a job now has stopped me from enjoying things like dinner dates with my friends or family, or getting to spend quality family time but I know that this will be good for me and it’ll teach how to manage my time better and help me grow and mature.
Looking back at senior I am most grateful for my best friends and family who have been there for me through just about everything. My parents are my biggest motivation, they have given me everything I have ever wanted and the least I could do for them is make them proud which is what im trying to accomplish. High school has sure been hectic, crazy, and so worth it!
